This new DBA of SRS Acquisition will consist of the five locations in Illinois and Minnesota that formerly operated under the Wilson Wholesale and Century Building Products names. It is also expected that future locations opened or acquired in the states of Illinois, Minneapolis, Iowa and Wisconsin will also use this new regional name moving forward.

“The legacy operating names of our various units have and will continue to be very important to our company’s success and growth” commented SRS CEO Ron Ross. “We have worked diligently to grow the various brands and to add to them with new locations. It is very important, however, when we have too many brands operating within the same or contiguous markets or if the brand no longer adequately portrays our operations, that we unify branding.”

“Changes for signage on buildings and trucks, various printed documents, displays and business cards are underway currently. As always, we appreciate your continued support as we navigate through these changes and move on to the next level of growth.”

SRS Acquisition Corporation (“SRS” or “the Company”) announced today that it has opened a new location in Omaha, Nebraska under the Shake & Shingle Supply name. The location will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products and focus on servicing the area’s premier roofing contractors, remodeling contractors and home builders. The location will service the Omaha, Lincoln and Council Bluffs metropolitan areas and surrounding communities throughout Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.

The branch in Omaha, Nebraska will be led by Branch Manager Julian Gonzales, who has a distinguished career of over ten years in the industry in various markets across the country. With Julian’s experience, he will develop contacts and local relationships quickly in this market and will bring the energy, and leadership abilities to build a strong team and provide roofing contractors with outstanding service and support. Julian will report directly to Troy Baker, District Manager of SRS’ Shake & Shingle division.

Ron Ross, Chief Executive Officer of SRS Acquisition Corporation, commented, “Expanding into the Omaha market has been high on our priority list since we started the company back in 2008. We are very familiar with this market and from there we fully expect to seed the Lincoln market for another stand-alone branch in the very near future. Omaha was attractive to us because it allows us to expand our footprint into Nebraska, a state where we have had a strong track record. It is also a market that is very prone to storm activity and enjoys a strong underlying economy.”

I feel that SRS is one of the best companies to work for because of our entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude and culture. Our company mission statement is, “Make money and have fun”. One of our favorite sayings in the company is “Consider It Done” and many of the emails that are floating around in our company are in fact answered with “CID”. ~ Ron Ross President and CEO

“The type of people that we like to hire are people that have a good strong work ethic because it is a difficult business. We put a lot of effort and emphasis on safety in the workplace. We’ve been very successful in a rough economic environment in terms of housing and building materials, so I guess we’re doing something right.” ~ Garold E.

SRS has continued to grow and expand its portfolio across the country since it set off on its form the strongest national network of independent roofing distributors with the industry’s most talented team of people working together to deliver the best products and service. The path to this goal is well underway and can only be attributed to the leadership and partnerships that make up SRS Acquisitions Corp.

SRS was noted as the fastest growing construction construction supply company in the ProSales 100 in early June, 2010 when it announced two new openings in IL and OK.

“It is exciting to have the resources, talent and opportunity to be able to continue on our aggressive growth path by expanding organically through two exciting new greenfield locations,” SRS chief operating officer Dan Tinker said in a statement. “In both cases, our existing customers told us that they had an unmet need for our services and that we were too far away to properly service them from existing neighboring branches. It is of long-term strategic importance that we expand in Chicago, the third-largest market in the U.S. and also develop a platform for future growth in Oklahoma, which is perennially a very strong re-roof market.”

SRS ranks 15th on this year’s ProSales 100, with 2009 sales of $240 million, double its 2008 revenue. Meanwhile, it has grown from 18 locations at the end of 2008 and 31 at the end of 2009.

Every division acquired by SRS is strengthened by the foundation and support team of roofing industry leaders onboard SRS and the business community can’t help but notice. In the most recent release of the Prosales 100 list, ProSales welcomed SRS Aquisition Corporation to their list of the top 100 dealers in the country.

“The most notable addition to the ProSales 100 was SRS Acquisition Corp. of McKinney, Texas. In the past year it has burst onto the roofing scene by purchasing a number of companies–Suncoast Roofers Supply in Florida, Southern Shingles in Texas, Wilson Wholesale in Illinois, and Rowe Supply in Georgia. By the end of 2008, its companies collectively were tallying $120 million in sales, all to pros.” ~ ProSales

Dear SRS Team:

I am pleased to announce the following addition to the SRS management team effective today:

Shawn Dennis, who was most recently a Territory Manager in our Wilson Wholesale, Naperville, Illinois location will be relocating with his wife, Colleen and their three daughters to Denver, Colorado and the recently acquired Shake & Shingle Division of SRS.

Shawn is being promoted to Branch Manager of the newly acquired Shake & Shingle branch in Denver, Colorado effective immediately. Shawn served in this capacity earlier in his career when he was at Shelter Distribution and brings the skill set, experience and passion to maximize the present storm opportunity in Denver. I am very confident that Shawn will make a great addition to our management team as he has earned this promotion through a track record of outstanding results.

Shawn will report directly to Greg Robinson.

Please join me in welcoming Shawn to the SRS management team.
