Sonya Wells
Vice President, Corporate Director of Information Services
Mrs. Wells is Vice President & Corporate Director of Information Services for SRS Acquisition Corporation. Mrs. Wells has over 15 years experience in the building material and home center industries with a proven track record in migrating acquisitions and multiple operating systems onto a common platform.
Mrs. Wells began her career in the banking industry in Northern Indiana where she implemented various systems and managed the depositor records department. In 1989, she joined a chain of Ace Hardware stores in the role of Systems Manager. While at Ace Hardware, she managed the implementation of a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In 1998, Mrs. Wells accepted a position with Shelter Distribution, Inc., as the Director of Information Systems. At Shelter, she directed the company's migration to a Window's-based version of the existing ERP system; as well as the technology integration of multiple acquisitions. Prior to SRS, her most recent assignment was with Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc as the Director of IT Extended Applications with a focus on Business Intelligence, where she managed the design and implementation of an information management system to extract and report data from the Beacon ERP system.
Mrs. Wells is action-oriented with a strong focus on servicing the entire user community. She is a member of the Project Management Institute.
