He has over twenty six years of roofing industry experience in both manufacturing and distribution. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in both Finance and Economics.

As a Territory Manager for Tamko Roofing Products, a leading roofing manufacturer, Paul was responsible for territory growth from $8 million to $19 million in annual sales between 1993 and 1997. Hired as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Roof Center in 1998, he led the company’s rapid growth from ten branches and $69 million in 1997 to eighteen branches and $150 million in 2000 through eight successful “green fields” and organic growth in the Maryland and Northern Virginia markets. In 1999, Paul was promoted to Vice President of Sales and in 2001 to Vice President and General Manager. The company grew to 22 branches and $225 million in sales with the acquisition of West End Lumber in Houston, Texas prior to the company being sold to Beacon Sales in 2001.

In this capacity, he had responsibility for a staff of thirteen including sales management, operations management, marketing, product managers and training. In addition to this role Paul was responsible for vendor management and was part of the acquisition management team involved in initial targeting and due diligence.

In 2003 Paul and two partners joined forces with Red Diamond Capital to acquire Morris Ginsberg & Sons, an $18 million single branch roofing distributor in Baltimore Maryland. Through two successful green fields in Northern Virginia the business grew to over $50 million in three years. In 2007, Morris Ginsberg was sold to the NB Handy Company where Paul served as General Manger providing leadership, key customer/vendor relationships and integration support to the new owners.
